Theodore Elyett is the multiple Award-Winning Creative Director & Clothing Engineer for his eponymous Womenswear label, 'Theodore Elyett.'
Hailed as one of his country's most celebrated Fashion Designers; Elyett made history in 2024 as the first Fashion Designer in the world, outside of Disney’s design team, to design a wardrobe for all eight of Disney’s iconic pals - Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale. Through a collaborative venture with Disney Cruiseline, Elyett also produced souvenir Mickey and Minnie plushie collectibles and a retail collection sold at Disney’s Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, Eleuthera and Castaway Cay, Abaco.
Elyett also penned history in 2018 as the first Bahamian Designer to showcase at Buckingham Palace before a royal audience including the Princess of Wales Catherine Middleton and is currently working on a collaborative design venture with Disney for the launch of its Disney Lookout Cay At Lighthouse Point set to be launched Summer of 2024.
His mastery has been featured in Forbes magazine, US Weekly on America's Next Top Model Winner Eva Marcille and in Essence Essence Magazine on Grammy Award Winning Michelle Williams.
He received the “Bahamian Icon," award in 2018 for Fashion Design and was bestowed a "Trailblazers Award," by the Governor General of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas in 2014.
In 2013, Theodore Elyett captured the heart of the Caribbean as he swept the region’s most celebrated Reality TV fashion competition, “Mission Catwalk,” as the winner of Season 3.
He has represented The Commonwealth of The Bahamas, through fashion design, in Asia, North America, South America, Europe and The Caribbean.
